Untitled Hike

Join a Ranger to hike 3 miles round trip to the site of a cemetery of enslaved people. We will discuss laws and statistics related to the practice of slavery in NC. This hike does feature discussions about racial violence and content that is more suited to a mature audience. Please attend with a respectful attitude and be prepared for a significant creek crossing and some short sections of off-trail hiking. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, wear hiking shoes, and bring water! Spaces are limited, and registration is required.
